I am thrilled to introduce you to the shop of my dreams and how it came to be. When my daughters were young I loved throwing over-the-top theme parties and creating special traditions they would cherish forever. All my ideas inspired me to write a book, Memories in Moments. Over 600 Timeless Ideas for Celebrating Life's Special Occasions. While marketing the book to specialty shops across the country, my desire to open my own shop grew. I have always loved decorating, entertaining and everything involved in creating a home. And although owning a shop seemed like a fantasy, I decided to learn more about the home and gift industry from the inside out. I became a wholesale representative of upscale home accessories. A few years later I had a vivid dream one night of a storefront with flowers out front, an awning and "nest" printed on the building. I woke up the next morning and knew it was meant to be! I opened "Nest" shortly thereafter. I hope you enjoy Nest as much as I love searching for new products and inspiration to help you create the home you have always imagined.
